🌍 MY STORY – The person behind TripNest

My name is Oksana, and I live in Ireland, but in reality a big part of my life has always existed somewhere between airports, unfamiliar streets, local markets, and sunsets in places I had never imagined myself before. Travel for me was never just about holidays. It started with curiosity — with the need to see how other people live, what they eat, how they talk, what their mornings look like, and what happiness looks like in different parts of the world.

Over the years, travel slowly turned into something much deeper. Not an escape, but a way of understanding life. I’ve now travelled to more than 40 countries across Europe, Asia, islands, and long-haul destinations, and the number keeps growing. I also have one personal rule that defines the way I travel: I never return to the same place. Not because I didn’t love them, but because the world is too big, too diverse, and too interesting to repeat the same chapter. Every trip becomes a new culture, a new rhythm of life, new faces, new smells, new food, and new ways of thinking. Some countries taught me slowness, some taught me courage, some taught me simplicity, and some completely changed how I see comfort, money, time, and happiness.

The more I travelled, the more I realised something important: travel doesn’t need to be expensive to be powerful — it needs to be smart. I became deeply interested in finding better ways to move around the world: cheaper routes, unexpected connections, flexible dates, hidden deals, and those moments when prices suddenly drop and opportunities open. I didn’t just want to go somewhere. I wanted to understand how the system works.

So I started researching daily. Comparing flights. Testing platforms. Tracking prices. Building trips around budgets instead of fixed destinations. And something interesting happened. People around me began asking how I found these prices, if I could help them plan something similar, if I could check flights for their dates, or if I could build something around the only thing they had — a budget. That was the real beginning of TripNest. Not as a brand, but as a habit. A habit of searching, comparing, building routes, matching destinations to budgets, and turning “I want to travel but don’t know how” into real, bookable ideas.

Today, TripNest is the space where I share the result of that daily work. I don’t repost random offers and I don’t chase fake discounts. Every deal you see is researched, compared, and selected because it makes sense in real life. Alongside sharing deals, I also help people build trips based on what actually matters: their budget, their available dates, where they are flying from, and where they want to go — or what kind of experience they are looking for. Sometimes people come with a destination, sometimes only with a number, and sometimes only with a feeling: “I want sun,” “I want culture,” “I want something different.” From there, I build ideas, routes, options, and realistic travel plans.
